A Pre-Wedding Shoot in York with a Special Mini-Guest: Laura, Martin and Nancy!

The countdown is on for Laura and Martin’s big day at the fabulous Barmbyfield Barns next month and I’m beyond excited to shoot their wedding there! Hope this good weather lasts.

Last Friday, they received their gallery from their pre-wedding shoot at Homestead Park in York. Pre-wedding shoots are a brilliant way for us to get to know each other better before your wedding day as well as for me to catch up on your plans and anything special you want from your photography. It’s a great chance for you to get used to having my camera pointing at you and to practise a few positions that we’ll probably use on your wedding day portraits.

It wasn’t all new for Laura and Martin when we met a couple of week’s ago for their shoot because I had photographed little Nancy at their home when she was a newborn. So it was extra special to have her along to take part in the shoot too and give Mummy and Daddy lots to smile about. Isn’t she a beauty?! If you want to see how much changes in a year, take a look at her newborn blog here!

3 weeks to go, gang! I can’t wait to see you there!

Amy xx
