York Newborn Photographer - Baby Nancy
Today's pesky rain has meant I've had to re-schedule a family shoot that has been long-planned. On the plus-side, I'm now thinking back to a couple of weeks ago on a very much more hot and sunny day, the type that that we have become accustomed to, when I went to photograph this new little cherub: Nancy.
Laura and Martin are one of my couples for 2019 so I was delighted to be asked to photograph their beautiful little girl. I know how much she will have changed by the wedding next year! They are already dab-hands at parenting Ted the dog and seem to be doing an equally good job with their mini-human too!
Ted adores his new baby-mate and has to be pushed off from giving her constant 'kisses and cuddles' (slobbery licks). So cute!
Nancy was super-chilled out during the shoot. It's funny how so many parents find this. The babies love being wrapped and they seem to often go into a sleepy, still state in front of the camera. Of course, newborns love a good cry from time to time too and that's when we can take a break for feeding and cuddles.
Laura and Martin are in the middle of what all parents of newborn babies seem to do - building an extension, of course! They're taking it all in their stride.
I love laid-back couples and it helps when they are as gorgeous in front of the camera as these two! So I can't wait for their engagement and wedding photos to come. I wonder if Ted will be the ring-bearer?!
Laura and Martin, congratulations on creating the poppet Nancy! Here are some of your highlights. See you soon!
