Featured! A Stylish and Relaxed Wedding at Jervaulx Abbey
When I photographed this wedding at Jervaulx Abbey, my focus was exactly the same as it is today — capturing the energy of the day as it naturally unfolded. While my work is now based in Barcelona, the relaxed, editorial style you see here is the same approach I bring to destination weddings throughout Spain and Europe.
Rachel and Joe were married in September at Jervaulx Abbey, North Yorkshire. The abbey is very close to Rachel’s parents, and her family have been there many times in the past, so they knew how beautiful the ruins are. They wanted somewhere where things weren’t dictated to them - they could bring whatever caterers they wanted, organise the day just how they wanted it, and importantly bring their own bar!
