Featured! A chic late-Summer wedding at Aldby Park

York Wedding Newborn Photographer

This was a stylish yet relaxed celebration at Aldby Park, filled with natural light, thoughtful details, and a pace that allowed the day to breathe. Photographed earlier in my career, this wedding reflects the same approach I bring to my work today as a Barcelona-based destination wedding photographer, documenting weddings across Spain and Europe.

This was my first time shooting a wedding at Aldby Park, and I’m in love with this venue! Plus Claudia and Connor were just a super-lovely and laid-back couple, so it was just a dream day for me!

The forecast hadn’t been great, but it turned out dry and even warm most of the day, so everyone could make the most of the stunning gardens and outdoor games. The marquee and snug were beautifully decorated, all by Claudia and Connor themselves, as well as the beautiful altar used during the outdoor ceremony.

In line with the relaxed vibes, food was served from a pizza van, and gelato from a VW ice cream van: yum!

We lucked-out with a little golden evening session, and I knew these guys would be game for a bit of fence-hopping following our pre-wedding shoot session when I had them piggy-backing through the fields. Thank you - it’s always worth it!

A big shout out to Dan @iamkidrain, who played an amazing 12 hour solo set and really got the guests rocking! And to George Holden Media, who was brilliant to work with on video. The whole team of suppliers were wonderful. You can see the full list below the highlights coming up.
