TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking with Amy Jordison Photography you agree to abide by the terms and conditions as set out below. These terms and conditions shall not be varied except by agreement in writing.

Web site use

All photographs on www.amyjordison.com web site are the property of Amy Jordison Photography. Low resolution photographs on the web site and the blog are for demonstration of the photographer’s work only. All the information is correct at the time of being published on the web site. Amy Jordison Photography retains the right to change any information on the web site without notice.

Baby, Maternity or Family Photo shoot

The session fee shall be paid in full in order to secure the date and time for a shoot. This is non-refundable. Additional photographic products shall be paid for in full at time of ordering. Images/prints/wall art/books can be ordered from private preview gallery - separate price list applies.

Date and location are to be agreed with Amy. Location must usually be within 2 hours of York. Greater distances can be arranged with travel costs supplemented to the photographer at a cost of 45p per mile.

Copyright and Reproduction

Negatives and digital files from a photo shoot remain the property of the Photographer. For the avoidance of doubt all copyright in the images are owned absolutely by the Photographer within the provision of the Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988. Original digital images are stored electronically by Amy for a period of 6 months, after which time they may be subject to deletion without notice.

Digital images are provided to the client with personal reproduction and display rights. These rights grant the client permission for unlimited personal printing and the display of the images on personal websites, including Facebook. The client is not permitted to use the photographs for any personal or commercial gain.

Unforseen Circumstances

Amy Jordison Photography shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of their duties. It is understood that, in the event of any unforeseen exceptional circumstances, outside the control of Amy Jordison Photography, causing loss of photographic record, Amy Jordison Photography will be responsible for the return of all the money paid to date, although every effort will be made to re-take the photographs.

Cancellation Policy

The client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice, but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. If the photo shoot is postponed, due to sickness, bad weather or any other unforeseeable circumstance, Amy  will aim to reschedule to a new date and time. If this is not possible, the session fee will be returned to the client.

Because of bespoke and customised nature of Amy's prints and products, after the photographic product order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.

Creative Licence

Save as otherwise agreed between the client and Amy, Amy Jordison Photography shall be entitled to use its judgement regarding the style and artistic input in the production of pictures. This includes, but is not limited to, locations, poses and number of images taken. Due to the vagaries of weather and the willingness of subjects, it may not be possible to capture all the pictures requested by the client. In the event of uncooperative children at a session of any kind, for any reason, Amy may not be able to capture any, or all the images, the client may have requested or expected. The client is responsible for all children at all sessions.

Amy Jordison Photography reserve the creative right to edit and release only images deemed fit as professional in quality and within its artistic standards. Images are fully edited before being presented to the client. Requests for additional edits are carried out at the discretion of Amy, who reserve the right to charge the client accordingly.

Advertising & Promotion

Amy Jordison Photography reserve the right to use all images for advertising and promotional purposes.

Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed, digital images for family/newborn/maternity shoots will be delivered within 2 weeks of the photo shoot having taken place via the client's personal and private online download gallery. Expect wedding galleries to be complete within 2 months.

Client Confidentiality

Amy will keep confidential and will not disclose client details to any third parties or make use of material or information communicated to her in confidence for the purposes of the photography, save as may be reasonably necessary to enable Amy to carry out her obligations in relation to the commission.

Applicable Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
