A Stunning Roundhay Park Wedding in Leeds: Kathryn and Vincent

Back in June I was lucky to photograph this fabulous wedding of Kathryn and Vincent at The Mansion in Leeds. After a month of rain, the skies cleared for a beautiful Summer’s Day which made the Roundhay Park backdrop even more spectacular: winner!

The bridal prep. stage was really relaxed. Well, you should know by now that my middle names are Chilled and Easy Going and my couples are too! While hair and makeup were worked on by the lovey Brittany Lamb, I had a great time as usual getting creative with the dress and details shots.

I was nuts about the stairs at The Mansion. Don’t Kat and her Dad look superb making the walk to the ceremony room? The ceremony room itself looked beautiful too, with a floral archway all set up. I just love how in love and happy these two look, I can tell they are best friends for life. There was a hilarious moment when the registrar read out the wrong names for the couple in his introduction. Luckily they saw the funny side!

It was a later-than-usual ceremony which meant we were straight into some quick-fire group shots before I took the newly-weds for a little stroll into the park for their portraits. So.In.Love.With.These!

With the help of a great events manager, everything ran smoothly throughout the day and evening. I loved the way he was ready to hand out loads of confetti to guests so that we could get some brilliant, colour-filled shots on the lawn. And take a look at the amazing cake made by Kat’s friend Zoe’s Fancy Cakes: just stunning!

I really liked the later ceremony time as it brought a really good pace to events and meant that the dancing seemed to come around so fast - always great fun!

So it was another gorgeous day with another lovely couple! I’m so thankful to be able to share these special, life-changing days with you.

Wishing Kathryn and Vincent a lifetime of happiness.

Thanks for having me along,

Amy xx
