Beautiful October Wedding at Villa Almanita
As a photographer based in Sitges, I am spoilt for beautiful venues nearby, where couples travel from far and wide to host their dream wedding in the sun — and this October wedding at the stunning Vila Almanita, just outside Barcelona, was exactly that. Set against the backdrop of golden autumn light, Aimee and Marcus’ day overflowed with love, laughter, incredible food, and plenty of amazing unplanned moments that make a wedding unforgettable (shoulder dance, anyone?!).
Aimee and Marcus wanted their day to feel relaxed and intimate, surrounded by closest family, friends, and lush Mediterranean florals. Every detail was perfectly planned— from the ceremony under the palm trees to the long, candlelit dinner table that stretched late into the evening, covered in the most beautiful florals. I just love photographing weddings like this where everything feels natural, yet we can create editorial magic in every frame.
These guys already had a small wedding in the UK a week before, where they got caught up in the most horrendous storm (named Amy, of course!)! So the night I knew they were arriving at the villa when there was a huge thunderstorm, I was a bit worried about them! But the good old Spanish sunshine worked its magic on the day and everything was actually perfect - nice and warm with a bit of cloud.
There was so much love in the room, and a lot of fun with an epic dance floor! Thank you so much to Aimee, Marcus and all the fantastic suppliers. Definitely one to remember.
